How do I get there?
Lake Resort is located in the Paljakka tourism center in Kotila village, Puolanka.
When you arrive, Google Maps or a navigation system will guide you to the destination using the address “Matkailukeskus Paljakka”. Lake Resort is located right in the heart of the tourism center, on Hoikanvaarantie road opposite the intersection with Rinnetie road. Where do I get the keys?
The day of arrival, we will send you the door code and precise arrival instructions to the destination.
How many people can stay in one cottage?
One cottage can accommodate two adults and two children. If you also have small children (under 3 years old), you can inquire about the possibility of an extra bed from the sales service.
Does every cottage have its own outdoor hot tub?
Yes, every Lake Resort cottage has its own outdoor hot tub. The cottages are rented as a package, including the right to use the hot tub for the entire rental period. You can also rent a cottage without a hot tub and purchase a one-day pass to use the hot tub.
If you want to rent a cottage without a hot tub, please contact the sales service.
Please note that according to the rules, there is a general silence in the area from 11 pm to 7 am. You can use the hot tub from 7 am to 12 midnight.

What are the check-in and check-out times? The cottage can be accessed no earlier than 4:00 PM and must be vacated by 12:00 PM on the day of departure. However, please inform the sales service of your arrival time and if you plan to leave before 12:00 PM

Where is the nearest shop located? When arriving, it is recommended to do bigger grocery shopping on the way in town centers. The nearest town centers are: Ristijärvi (26km), Puolanka (32km), Paltamo (50km).
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed in Lake Resort cabins.
What activities can I do while vacationing in Paljakka?
In winter, you can, for example, ski, snowboard, rent a snowmobile or join a guided safari in Paljakka.
In the immediate vicinity of Lake Resort, there is a Lake Resort saunas. Winter outdoor trails start right from the doorstep, and the cross-country skiing track is only a 300m walk away. Read more about winter activities here.
In the summer, the nearby easy-to-walk trails provide a great outdoor experience. For longer hiking routes, we recommend the Scenic Route (10km) and the Lynx Round (14km).
