Lake Resort is set to open in September 2021.
Lake Resort Paljakka Oy is building an accommodation and tourism service entity in Paljakka, on the shores of Lake Rakennusjärvi.
Phase 1 (September 2021): five glass cabins with lake views, sauna and outdoor hot tub. A Service Building that includes technical facilities as well as facilities serving customers such as ski waxing rooms and drying facilities, e.g. snowmobiling and water sports equipment. In addition, the area’s infrastructure, roads and parking lots with electric car charging points.
Phase 2 (during summer 2022): saunas / sauna yard located on the shores of Rakennusjärvi and facilities for swimming and water activities / ice swimming in the lake. There will also be service facilities for groups on the beach.
Construction work on going and is on schedule , giving work to our Finnish partners. Currently two local comapnies, HH-Työ and Juniperus Company from Puolanka are building the site.
Construction of Lake Resort will also improve tourism in the area also more generally as the accessibility of Rakennusjärvi improves and the summer use of the lake becomes easier.
The project is financed by the local bank, Ylä-Kainuun Osuuspankki. The project has been financially supported by European Regional Development Fund with a Company Development Grant.
